At the end of April, one of the meetings of the LIAISE project was held at CETEM’s facilities. The project is funded through the European Commission’s COST Action and its main objective is to generate relevant synergies among academics, researchers, industry and public stakeholders, while laying the foundations for the further and robust development of knowledge related to Industrial Symbiosis. The network has a strong international dimension, extending beyond the borders of the European Union, and brings together more than 250 experts. The opening and welcome session was attended by the Mayor of Yecla, Remedios Lajara; the Regional Secretary for Energy, Sustainability and Climate Action, Mari Cruz Ferreira; and the Director of CETEM, José Francisco Puche.
