Throughout 2024, a series of activities were organised to celebrate the 30th anniversary of CETEM’s establishment. The founding document is dated 17 October 1994, and 17 October 2024, exactly 30 years later, was chosen for the main anniversary celebration. The first part of the event took place at the Concha Segura Theatre in Yecla, where the title of Honorary Member was presented to the family of Juan Carlos Muñoz, who sadly passed away on 16 February 2024. He thus became CETEM’s first and, to date, only Honorary Member. An engaging round-table discussion was also held with organisations and companies that collaborate with CETEM. The event was attended by the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence of the Government of Spain, the Regional Minister of Economy, Finance, European Funds and Digital Transformation of the Region of Murcia, and the Mayor of Yecla.
A cocktail reception was subsequently held at CETEM’s facilities for all the guests attending the event, numbering more than 400 people. Attendees included CETEM members, former and current employees, international partners, clients, politicians, and representatives of the main associations and organisations in the city of Yecla.
In addition, the event raised funds for AYAC, the Yecla Association of People Affected by Cancer.
